2011 Recap: January

First off, my favorite post from January 2011 was this one about a lovely baked meatball dish from Kalofagas – love reading his posts. By baking the orzo with the meatballs and broth, each little bite came out enveloped in a savory silken sauce.

Next, a post that never made it to the web – red lentils stewed in a light broth of coconut milk and curry. It was delicately sweet and spicy, and went great with steamed basmati rice.
