I made this tasty fish soup for my mom on Friday night before we headed out to see my quilt in the CVQG quilt show. It’s got a base of sauteed onions, carrots, shallot, garlic, and celery, a tasty savory broth, tender diced potatoes, salty smoked salmon, and sweet flaky haddock. We enjoyed it with crusty rosemary lemon bread from Bohemian Bread. It was the perfect medicine for staying warm on such a rainy night.
