2011 Recap: November

My favorite post from November was this one about apples – easily one of my favorite foods, along with tomatoes. In fact, after looking at this post, I think I have to go make some of those stuffed apples again…

Now for something new –

My husband and I had a few weeks where we ate food from a different country each week – during our “trip” to Guatemala, I made my own version of jocón – chicken stewed in a tomatillo and cilantro sauce. I made ours in the slow-cooker, so it was on its own for the day, and served it over rice when we got home from work.
